It is my proud privilege to inform that our centre has been accredited by the following Government authorities:
- Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP)
- Punjab Blood Transfusion Authority (PBTA)
- Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC)
- Punjab Human Organ Transplant Authority (PHOTA)
Like any other progressive organization PATHWEL also has future plans to establish a Molecular Haematology lab and an indoor Haematology Ward. We also plan to procure the following equipment to up-grade and keep a good backup of our services:
- Cell separator
- Digital X-Ray unit
- Ultra low Refrigerator for stem cell preservation
- Ultrasound machine
- Ventilator
- Multi-head microscope
- Automated Chemistry analyzer
- Solar Power unit (20 KVA)
- Patient lift
- Ambulance
We have come a long way and it is very heartening to know the progress we have made during the last few years. I am extremely grateful to the help and support of my team members, especially Maj Gen Parvez Ahmed (R), Dr. Jamal Nasir, Brig Kamran Mahmood (R), and many others, without whose help this progress could not have been possible.
We have several challenges ahead. The foremost is the sustainability and meeting the recurrent expenditures. We also need over fifty million rupees for expansion and up-gradation of the services. I had requested the President of Pakistan on his inaugural visit to our centre to help our patients in having access to Baitul Maal, Ehsas program and Health cards. Pakistanis are known for their philanthropy and I firmly believe that with a collective effort we can raise sufficient funds to achieve our goals. May I request you to please join us in this noble cause and donate generously.
Regards.
